Phil, saw somewhere today (the darkside mebbe) that Bein are screening the game on one of their channels. Don’t know if that’s any use to you.
I think we’ll see Yoshi, Stephens and Reed for VVW, Fonte and Oriel tomorrow.
Yeah it did show on the web site but on Sunday when they listed what they were showing & previewed them they only listed the 2 matches.
Will see, it’s the last midweek game for some time as with work a 2am finish is a bit of an issue these days!
Its a 2:45am start for me so a nights kip in, then watch the football and ready for work at 05:20 am completly bollocked by 18:00 when we finish.

Puel was saying that Boufal struggled to manage 20 mins on Sunday so I ain’t sure he will start. It was in article I read earlier.

Steveinthewoodland - Is this the official Match thread? Papsweb has very stricht rules on Match Thread starting - easy to get sacked if you fuck it up and we lose. Be warned, the papsweb gliterati will unleash hell upon you should the match now be compromised… many have tried to hold onto the role, only to be cast aside at the first hint of a conceded corner…

Thing is, it’s only the League Cup. Consider it a perfect opportunity to rest the forum cronies … sorry I mean stalwarts … and give the rookies a taste of the giddy world of the Papsweb elite.
If I fuck up and it goes tits up, it’ll be unfortunate but no ones expecting me to be the finished article anyway. It’ll be a case of still work in progress but worthwhile anyway for the first team experience I’ll have under my belt.
Also remember that we’ve been losing to Sunderland in the cup since long before I came on the scene

Tsk, Chutters, I’m surprised you had to ask. Most football forums do several threads per game. Build up, match, aftermath - plus all the threads that spawn decrying the scapegoats du jour.
We do two threads here. The match thread and the beer thread. This is not the beer thread. I know this because it’s not the poorly attended pit the beer thread presently is. By a simple process of applying Sotonians rules and deduction, if this is not the beer thread, it _MUST _be the match thread.

Apparently NOT on TV tonight BeIn are now listing Napoli v Empoli. I still have a hangover & will be lucky to make it to team announcement time let alone kick off but it has caused heartbreak for our regular Ale Quaffers down Barasti.
Do they blow the weekly beer token budget tonight with the risk of watching Italian Soccer or save them for Harvest Beer Festival & after party with DJ Jazzy Jeff tomorrow night…
