Please look at this

This is nearly an impossible thing to do

a ship collission willl not cause 2 fires at each end of the vessel.

It to me IMHO looks like an insurance / Salvage claim

Look how big the oil slick gets if it is small they already sold the oil, offloaded in a ship to ship transfer and have now scuttled the tanker.
