My favourite is number 7. Junior Jazz Dance Classes. I love good use of negative space in a logo design

It actually took me some time before I could see the dancers in No 7.

Some of those are quite unbelievable. I can only think that people sat around in design meetings thinking: ‘that looks decidedly dodgy to me but perhaps I’d better not say anything in case it’s only me that sees it that way.’

I’d never made the Lisa Simpson link for the London 2012 logo before, wow.

The Lisa Simpson logo was even better when it was animated to move to and fro.

That idea seemed to get dropped pretty damn quick.

Question:

When you first saw this one, did you immediately see boobs, and then have to look hard to see dancers, or did you immediately see dancers, and have to look hard to see boobs.

I saw boobs + I am just check this is normal cos the author seems to suggest i.e. otherwise.

Well, Doctor Rosenpenis, I struggled to see anything other than boobs for quite some time (about 5- 10 seconds, I suppose).

What does this mean, doc? Is it serious?

By the way, I already told you this in post 2, you blind old sod.

oh soz yeah you did. I have same problem, even when I’m really concentrating on seeing dancers, they keep turning back into boobs. I wonder why krg is not have this problem. Maybe he already had a wank?

Initially I only saw the dancers. After focusing on the negative area and seeing boobs, I now struggle to see the dancers as the boobs jump out and are in yer face…mmmmm

First I saw a really naff font, that I saw a really badly illustrated pic of a naked woman, the I saw the ultimate in bad logo design - two whimsical dancers that have been used a million times over in different logo designs.

Not at all, I’m not a logo snob! I like heritage logos. Looking at the Saints logo makes me feel happy. In that respect it’s doing the job it needs to.
