Last weekend we did the 2 hour round trip to Al Hamra, a booze shop in the desert. It’s about the size of a local supermarket and is MUCH cheaper than in town. They were playing Xmas Carols and had a lucky DIP (I won a £18 bottle of Chardonnay for my Turkey ffs)
Today, the Bell Inn emailed me suggesting I make a reservation for my Christmas Party now

(Oh NYE Dhow cruise for two buffet dinner without booze - $600. Which is MORE than our flights, hotels, tours and transfers cost for our 10 days in Cambodia at that time of the year…)
It is now September the Philippine shopping malls will be putting decorations up as we speak.
I at least have prevented the Mrs puting anything up until December but depending on if I am at home or at work will determine exactly when they do go up. Ie if I leave for work say the second week of November the decs will go up as soon as I am in the airport as it will be December when I arrive home.
Total cunt award for Christmas thread in September. I will be down voting all posts on this thread unlell they mirror my sentiment. However as I’m a fair grinch I will start down voting tomorrow.
Kev’s Santa cheesecakes are a Premier product and Kev is the Lenny Henry of cheesecake making. The masses love him for it and they can’t get enough of his cheesecake.
Has anyone you know tried one, and are they still in good health? More importantly, how much commission are you being paid for that blatant bit of advertising?
