Have to admit I hadn’t picked up that it was Pellé’s fifth booking against Stoke. All the sillier of him to kick the ball away after being penalised for handball in that case. Admittedly, he’d been shoved, held and kicked all match and got next to nothing for it, but given the ref that day he was always going to get a card for that minor show of dissent.
Long is a player who can give defenders a bloody difficult time - in a very different way to how Pellé does, but he can certainly be a handful. If he and Mané can click then it could be a challenging afternoon for City’s defence.
If City click it will be very challenging indeed for our defence! Wanyama and Clasie will have a major part to play I reckon.

I am more worried about sticking the ball in the net, but still think they will win this one with a flattering scoreline.
Also I do have to say I was pretty pissed off with the ‘supporters’ around me last Saturday. After going 0-1 down, most around me where getting on the teams back. A team that had not lost for 7 games. Some Saints fans do not know they have been born!!!
