All over. 1-1.

Would've been happy with that before the game -- but after being so close to the win, it is fucking shit. lou_angry

Still in our own hand though. We now know what we need to do.

Fucking smash Crystal Palace and then hope Man Utd do the same.

Thanks to a flappy keeper. I lost out on £80 winnings!

You do realise that if Saints win on Sunday, we will finish above Liverpool for the first time ever.

Like, EVER.

 Cheers.

The BBC text is a bit behind. It has just backed up exactly what you said though. lou_wink2

Ooh, another decent opportunity for the Reds, who are turning the screw at the moment. Begovic punches away a corner but doesn't get enough distance on it and it drops to Adam Lallana, but he fires wide on the volley.

They are watching this forum I think!

What Chelsea don't want to do here is conceded. lou_facepalm2

It seems that things are actually even better than we thought, at least according to the BBC Match Report:

"Liverpool remain eighth and are within three points of sixth-placed Southampton with a game left."

No-one tell West Ham, and we might get away with it.

The BBC have already deducted the three points for the unacceptable behaviour of the Happy Hammers V the team Coach that the FA if they have any balls (Unless its the Ladies FA) should be deducting.

Unlikely we will finish 5th so we have to rely on winning and then expecting Utd to win a match they really should win (the cup final). United to win when needed? Jeez  lou_facepalm2

6th and we can cheer for Palace in the Cup Final (If we really want to) We just have to win and hope that the hammers drop points at Stoke. It is possible, but I think once again we will be cheering on the favourites in the cup final for the secon year in a row!

What I do not understand about Liverpool's half hearted game last night, is if they lose the final next Wednesday, they could be without any European Football next season. Of course I think this will help them in the league.

I'm not sure that finishing behind Leicester, Saints and West Ham was in their Plan A for this season so failure to secure Champions' League would be a disaster of epic proportions.
