Hope it flies for you mate.

I reckon a certain Mr. L Reed of Hampshire had a Scotch or two last night after getting a deal over the line.

A cheap foreign import though no doubt.

Cheers @gwc We are having a shutdown so it should go quick never enough time in a shutdown :lou_lol:

Party time! @philippinesaint !

Yep that is correct… unlike wine Whisky does not change in the bottle. However, you do see prices increase for very good stuff as it becomes rarer… especially since many distilaries are no longer producing to the same quality as they did 20/30 years ago. My 1979 distilled/1995 bottled 16 year old distillers edition Lagavulin was £47 in 1995. An unopened, boxed bottle can be found for £1400 today… mainly because its rare and it was consider bloody good… which is very true  sadly i only have a quarter bottle left so its in effect £100 a dram now so I feel guilty even ooking at it

Drink it and fuck the consequenses enjoy the fact that you bought a very good bottle then drunk it.

I only have one rule about drinking whisky… and its not about what its worth or cost, but I never drink it alone… that is an easy way to ruin… only with pleasent company who apprecites it. The guilt is because Idont wantto share it! :lou_lol:

I’m the opposite, I appreciate it late of an evening, watching something good on TV, alone.

Double measure. Three ice cubes. Bliss.

My father-in-law spent the weekend at our place.

I just gave someone a Glenlivet and asked if they would like any ice.

They said no ice but do you have any sprite to put in it.

He was lucky the base of the bottle did not reverberate of his skull.

I know this problem.

Every time I take the Singapore office out for dinner, I ask who wants wine. I then have to ask of those who want wine, who is going to pour cola into it. Those who put their hands up get a glass of house red, and I keep the good stuff for the for, well, me.
