I thought Ake could have been sent off twice within a couple of minutes in the first half. First he pulled back Jesus in the area as he went in to score…if Jesus had gone down Ake would have got a red. A couple of minutes later Jesus robbed Ake as he dwelt on the ball and Ake deliberately tripped him without any other defender within reach…clear last man offence, Dean bottles it.

Schmeichel saves a Lukaku penalty…take it again says ref Oliver - NOT.
Schmeichel was 3 yards off his line when Lukaku hit the ball…a clear retake.
This is a basic rule of the game…and referees don’t seem to be aware of it.

Haha! just watched it again on MotD and Shearer points out it should have been retaken but thought it was a “great save”

Although we have got off to a less than stellar start, we are still unbeaten. I’d be worried if I were a Palace or Wet Spam fan. Early days but both teams look decidely shakey.
