In some respects it’s almost a shame that they gave the role of Missy to Michelle Gomez, as she could have made a great Doctor. Then again, she made a great Missy.

She was good in Broadchurch. I just wish that they had grasped the nettle and cast a female muslim.
I’m hoping that she does not take the fake Dorset accent from Broadchurch to the Tardis!

I suppose if you can regenerate then a set of different genitalia shouldn’t present a problem.
The thing about Dr Who is that it is shit. Always has been. And it ruined Malcolm Tucker.

Unbelievable.
I have never had a problem with female doctors, I would much rather a pretty young female doctor was asking me to cough or bend over for an inspection than a 65 year old grizzled male doctor.

Trouble is I made the mistake of introducing Mrs D_P to the Doc way back when we first started dating. She then passed that on to her Polish pals.
Who all became fans.
Who will now have to wait 2 years for the very busy Polish bloke to read the script in Polish over the orginal dialogue as THEY won’t understand a word.
(We’re watching Broadchurch S2 at the moment and she is struggling with Tennant tbh)

Pleased, really pleased, I was hoping that the writers were going to start going away form the “touchy feely” story lines, hopefully they’ll do that now as they don’t want to be accused of stereotyping.
Come to think of it, I guess River Song won’t be making a comeback any time soon.

What’s a “chuckle check out”?*
Some mandatory check that they do on the NHS to see if people have a sense of humour? Think it’s a bad idea. The cost for TSW alone would be enormous.
Don’t get me wrong. The diagnoses would me made immediately. The cost of testing would be negligible.
It’s the long term care you have to worry about. I think they should sell their houses to pay for it.
