Tonight

I shall mostly be drinking San Miguel!

majorca is it bro, or main land? hope it fucking rains.

Rekorderlig for a bit, for me, in England, like a Boss, then at strategic moment, i will switch to Jack+Coke (I am sweet tooth, lager is filth)

Main land Southampton…and cider’s for girls

san miguel is weak arse watery shit + should only be drunken in warmer climates. I mean prob, i only ever drunk it in magaluf on lad holiday when i was trying to appear bro + i don’t know a lot about lagers In General. I had a fosters once also. It was Awful.

Staying in. We’re having a party tomorrow night, so I’m having a night off.

Parties around our place are hopelessly fucking cool on account of all the teenagers*. They can be wearying.

* If you’re a teenager. If you’re a parent, it largely involves playing Human Lemmings and cleaning spew out of plug socket extensions,

Bombay Sapphire and Fever Tree tonic, followed by a red wine of my choosing (probably whatever’s on offer at Sainsbury’s).

What’s the difference between ordinary tonic water and Fever Tree tonic Fowllyd?

Fever Tree has a more subtle flavour and is less sugary than stuff like Schweppes, so it marries much better with the gin. A lot of people don’t much care for the actual gin, in which case it doesn’t really matter, but I like to taste the gin so it’s Fever Tree for me every time.

Thanks for that, I’ll pass it on.

Cisk for me unless I can find a bar with Lord Chambary

You know Miguel too? I knew him before he was a saint. He certainly did like it when people swallowed.

Off to a talk by Antony Beevor which shall be bookended by several of pints of London Pride.

Those Spanish waiters are all the same!

Finished work early. Currently cooking spanish tortilla and albondigas. Sipping my first Old Golden Hen and got a couple of bottles of Shiraz for later. I am such a catch.

Jealous. I like Beevor. He’s a decent writer that doesn’t overlook the Eastern Front.

Maltese lager can do one - i wish my Maltese hangover would do the same

Missus doing a night shift. Strong cider night. Pestering the internet.

Pal came round for dinner (Brazlan Roast Pork Tendrloin - frozen only GBP2.50 per kg) with Mash & Carrot Puree.

Mrs D_P had a Sauvignon Blanc, Pal had Tsing Tao, I had OSH.

Then we sat down and watched the “final” Top Gear.

It was all very chilled until 35 minutes in and then it was total ROFL “The Airshow Gag” and discovering that Clarkson was actually an Angel for only lumping the Producer back at the Hotel. The 2nd set was really funny and I have to say that if somebody had put ME through that I would have got out the car and lumped him FAR earlier.

Caught the Yorks innings in the T20 Blast on telly now reading all the comments to the pics I posted of the last game at the Dell on our Dubai Saints FB page with a relaxing Bacardi & Coke.

Have a safe and pleasant weekend everyone and remember the NSA will be checking to make sure you celebrate the 4th July or else
