20 minutes Sam McQueen smashes the ball home from 12 yards after a corner fails to be cleared.

23 minutes Ryan Seager heads home with a flashing header…cracking goal 
2 -3 Harry Reed atones for scorning at the other end by running the ball into his own net whilst trying to clear…26 minutes.

As well as the goals Bertrand was booked after 2 minutes…good to see he’s not easing himself back in…looked very comfortable. Saints should also have had a penalty after a Reading defender handled from a corner…taking the ball off Ryan Seager’s head. Lots more chances in a very entertaining game so far.

Bertrand subed at half time…a useful work-out.
Hesketh turned in a ‘gimme’ of a chance for 2-4.
Given that Reed was very unlucky with the own goal, it’s not been _quite _as open as it sounds. Entertaining though.
Bertrand was subbed at half-time, for what it’s worth. Excellent to see him get some game time though.

Commanding performance in the second half running out easy winners againts the team who were leading the division at the start of play.
Very entertaining game.

Considering that most of these lads have been fast-tracked (due in part to the crown jewels being sold off), there’s some real promise. I’ve been keeping tabs on Hesketh, Seager and Sims for 18 months now and all are progressing nicely. None of them over the age of 19 yet.
