As the title says, Adidas out the door (again) as of next season.
SAINTS’ American profile is set to grow still further with US sportswear giant Under Armour becoming their new kit manufacturer from next season onwards.
The club’s current deal with Adidas expires this summer, and the Daily Echo understands it will not be renewed with Under Armour taking over the design and production duties in a big money coup at St Mary’s.
It is a significant move for both parties.
Under Armour get to plant another foot in the UK market, having recently signed tennis star Andy Murray on to their books.
For Saints, it aligns them with a prestigious and growing brand, who have ambitious expansion plans.
Willing to bet this is a much more substantial offering to previous deals, plus we won’t have Adidas treating us like a Sunday League side (nor have to put up with templated kits). Step in the right direction.
a) Under Armour is an American brand
b) They spell it as “armour”
Their marketing back home probably suggests that this is the top sports brand in England, hewn by hobbits and worn in the Royal Premier Jousting League.

I like these new kit discussion threads. It’s a safe environment for men to talk about tailoring, and their favourite shirt designs. But still be manly
