There was a tit on Question Time last night that resembled Timmy Mallett. Poor old Mallett gets maligned by association, yet Mallett saved a woman from drowning in a lake!
Unfortunately Pap, I don’t know how to date filter an internet search, so I can’t think of anyone off the top of my head.

He’s a hero, and not many people know that. All achieved post-fame, no fuss made. I only know this because I’m the sort of propeller-head that knows how to date filter an internet search.
One feels that one day, we’re going to get the motherlode of posts from Pap.

I’m just not sure that stories about Dave from the pub getting unfairly maligned are going to be as universal.
My mate Dave is always being called a fat cunt, which is pretty unfair given his 32in waist. Still a cunt tho obv.
Not really a celebrity in the traditional sense, but everyone down the pub knows him.
