Spent a long weekend there last week. Lovely place. Great combination of old and new architecture. The best market I have ever visited. Home of paella. Excellent use of open spaces - in 1957, following a huge flood, the river that runs through the city was rerouted and the original river bed turned into a huge park 11km long. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

I love that show but then I love Richard Ayoade. The Rome one was quite silly. Some of the things they do are way too expensive.

Have friends who live just o/s Valencia - one British, one Italian (working for the EU btw). Have had loads of long weekends with them. I can't recommend the place highly enough - go visit.
