Vitesse (H) drinks!

Wahoo, Papster has created a drinking forum. This, people, is how we differentiate ourselves from The Other Place.

We Are Friendly ™.

These aren’t just words on a page. This WAF mentality runs deep through our psyche. It’s in our DNA.

We welcome newbies. We give gifts. We pat each other on the back for even the most unfunny jokes. We meet for drinks, and encourage everyone to join us ( then leave before they get there). We are not afraid to take a stand against those who mock us.

And you can fuck off if you don’t like it!

So who’s up for Vitesse drinks?

Why thank-you Brewmaster Lou. I shall be travelling down on Wednesday night, and will be available from around 18:00 on the Thursday. Given the evening kick-off and proximity concerns, The Old Farmhouse?

I don’t like it.

So far NINE of the Dubai Saints Massive are on the bus for Arnhem.

By a stroke of genius level luck, one of them is the Regional Sales Director for Heineken.

By adding my (modest level) genius creativity I suggested that perhaps a complimentary VIP Client tour of the Heineken Factory should be organised on the morning of the game before heading down to Arnhem for a late lunch. (Just trying to change the time from 08:30am to about 10:00am on the Thursday for obvious reasons!)

So we’ll be in the Korenmarkt with the flag (for logo see my Avatar) and look forward to meeting up with all you friendly welcoming differentiators!

We’ll also probably be parked (collapsed) in or around Leidesplein on the Wednesday evening (will update y’all nearer the time)

I must stress Phil, that for the time being, all efforts are focused on the home game. Is anyone actually going?

Does Bearsy shit in the woods?

First up has to be Fish & Chips at “Mike’s” on Queensway just between Debenhams & the Petrol Station (Just can’t get PROPER F&C here)

Then waiting on ideas for our massive to meet up (think we are about 14 for the home game + mates). Happy to make it a joint gig (and not in a Bulldog sense ffs)

Any ideas welcome otherwise we’ll be stuck having to meet up with the Aussie Saints and Gawd knows how much of their Mitchell Johnson sh1t I can take in one tour

Oh dear god, I know what this is going to turn into. Beer and Sandwiches and Talking to People. A triple-decker horror story.

Think I’ll be at this one, just need to find out if I’m going to Leeds next week.

Lou, what train you planning on getting down?

Fake that smile, Furbs.

I’m not actually going! Just wanted to pop this new category’s cherry

However, if it’s shown on TV and anyone wants to meet up in London, I might be finding a pub with Bucks Saint, so you’re welcome to join…

Ah, I see.

Certainly plan to go so I’ll have to duck out on the London one.

I’ll be in my back garden watching on the laptop with a bottle of bourbon and a tear in my eye, if anyone wants to join me.

Hopefully I will have made it to Tahiti by kick off and will be starting the holiday in true Goat fashion by ignoring Mrs G. Kid G. Sister in Law and the whole French Polynesian Goat army to find an incredibly shit stream and stretching the patchy wifi to it’s limit.

Have a pint for me.

Tahiti ?! Damn you Goatboy. You win the envy enducing holiday competition!

He’s not really going to Tahiti. He was just trying to sneak a word past you that had the word tit hidden in it.

Probably your most accurate post ever. High five?

Well, I’ve got my ticket and I’ll be heading for St Marys on Thursday evening. So, who’s going, and who’s up for a pre-match drink?

I work in Farnborough and normally finish at 6pm, but I’ll see if I can sneak off early on Thursday to get to Southampton in good time.

Well I’ll definitely be going. Who else?
