Well this is a belter of racism

Where do we stand on this?

Blimey what next, white folk cant listen to Bob Marley? Rastas cant listen to The Beatles? Nonsense. People should be able to wear what they want, wear their hair as they wish etc. No brainer surely?

There is not even any debate to be had.

Utterly ridiculous. (I don’t mean you raising the subject Barry, but rather that it should even be an issue for anyone at all).

It’s his hair. If he wants to have dreads, all power to him. It is no-one’s business but his own how he chooses to wear his hair.

It’s as simple as that, (as our Nige would say).

I dont know why a spat between a couple of students was even considered newsworthy by the BBC.

My thoughts entirely, SOG - it’s a total non-story. One woman objects to one man’s hair style on racial/cultural grounds. Crikey.

Not sure in what sense it’s a “belter of racism”, or even what a “belter of racism” is in the first place.

Until the philosophy which hold one race superior
And another
Inferior
Is finally
And permanently
Discredited
And abandoned -
Everywhere is war -
Me say war.

That until there no longer
First class and second class citizens of any nation
Until the colour of a man’s skin
Is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes -
Me say war.

That until the basic human rights
Are equally guaranteed to all,
Without regard to race -
Dis a war.

That until that day
The dream of lasting peace,
World citizenship
Rule of international morality
Will remain in but a fleeting illusion to be pursued,
But never attained -
Now everywhere is war - war.

Do you think Bob gave a fuck what your hair looked like?

Not even sure it’s racism, it’s just an idiot spouting rubbish that no sensible person would agree with.

I find myself agreeing with the black woman. That white man needs to have white man hair. Is there nothing the white man won’t steal?

If he went in to your fridge he couldn’t steal anything Lord of Lard…

but my fridge is very full. He could steal loads.

You can’t walk past that fridge without emptying it, the more you fill it the more you fill your rotund midriff, you sir are the Professor of Plump…
