Again, I feel like people might be shooting the messenger on this one a bit, but the window has been a little underwhelming.
Having said that, I still haven’t actually wrapped my head around the idea that VVD is actually staying, so once he’s back kicking a ball for us again I’ll probably feel a little more optimistic.
The primary issue is going forward of course, but if Lemina turns out to be what we hope he is, then with VVD and Hoedt at the back I don’t think we’re far off having a very decent side.
Actually - on that point - I really hope we give Lemina a proper go as the furthest forward of the three central midfielders as we did at the start of the second half against Huddersfield (which probably gave us our best 15-minute spell of the game).

The wonderful thing on this site Barry is that everyone (well apart from you apparently) knows that is something offensive is posted or named its is removed. PS has been extremely generous, but was also completely fine with creating alternative crap names 
… when they were too close the bone. It’s why we are so shamed and concerned by the offence we have cause you (you being such a snowflake liberal and all) and the pain you must have suffered by not pointing out the offensive nature of my name for over 12 months - I weep at night now unable to console myself with the grief I have caused so need to understand why such a sensitive and moral soul took so long to be offended to avoid doing so again. Please help be Barry, please help me Obi Won
