Can always get a new girlfriend (sorry ms pap).
The mother of my daughter for me.
It would depend on if the mother needed saving because she could not function on her own ie bedridden if thats the case save the girlfriend. If she required saving because the incident has harmed her but not the girlfiend save the mother let the girl look after herself. if both required saving because of the incident grab your father take him in with you and ask him to save the girlfriend whilst you save your mother. (the recriminations there will reverberate for years) or save the one you feel deserves it most
I would retreat to safe distance, and try to help them both using the power of prayer.
Interesting that they chose girlfriend rather than wife.
My wife, she is the mother of my daughter.
No dilemma for me, I don’t have a mother or a girlfriend so I would save my wife.
Hide the petrol. Rescue mum. Swear to wife that you have no idea who the crispy bird is.
