Just went onto the Independent page to read about Britain First and there is a box on the page that says Beautiful celebs that you didnt know were Jewish. Oh dear.
Anyway, my mother in law used to share lots of pages from Briatin First on FB which used to annoy me no end so finally I blocked them. Good to see that they have been suspended.
I, sadly, have family members who post this crap. The wonderful irony is that one of my uncles gets on great with my wife, but when she lived in England he used to post the standard âimmigrants are ruining my country crapâ. In the end I lost patience and pointed out to him that both my wife and I are or have been immigrants and that perhaps he should consider carefully what it is heâs trying to say!

I see it all the time. My maternal grandfather is from Pakistan, so weâve got a lot of that influence in our family. We did the integration thing, so people donât really think of us as immigrants, which means they forget when they post their racist crap.
Almost always the older generation, sadly. I actually had to say to ms papâs dad âyou do realise when you have a go at immigrants that youâre knocking your own grandkids?â. Heâs getting better. In amongst the racist crap he sometimes posts something for social justice. Progress.
