It should have been obvious before my first visit, but I learned on my first trip to LA that the place was basically a desert. All the water is piped down from the Rockies.
Nowt to get excited about here. Resources get reallocated to where they are needed all over the world. The Liverpool City Region has got half the population of Wales, and not enough of the clean water. Liverpool has got a shitload of jobs for people working in North Wales, and loads of other things they need.
And to be fair to the scousers, they’ve always been fair to the Welsh.
