With all due respect I’ll be watching paint dry for that fortnight and leaving all that Murray mania twaddle to the middle-aged ladies of Surrey.

I think I’ll end up doing what I normally do each year.

Give a fuck about tennis for a couple of weeks.

It’s the English way!

That’s the spirit. Now you are getting into it. See you in the queue on Wimbldon Park.

I’ve got my 2 week berth booked on Murray hill!

I’ll bring sandwiches, and a cyanide capsule.

Who doesn’t love buttie roulette while sipping pims and shouting COME ON TIMMY!?

I spend the two weeks thinking of Murray as ‘British’, right up until the point he crashes out when he instantly becomes Scotch(sic) again.

When Murray does go out early, I usually pray that it’s hot enough to make even the fittest of human bodies sweat.

It’s a great British institution; it’s everything that’s great about Britain - what’s not to like ffs?

Oooh, hang on a minute :slight_frown:

I’m ‘tennisphobic’ I’m afraid, absolutely hate it…and golf!

Will there be any monkies playing? This forum has them! Just sayin’

I don’t mind a bit myself. One thing I really like about the sport is that it doesn’t matter how down you are. As long as you’re not out, you still have a chance.

Unlike, say, Aston Villa twenty seven minutes into our recent fixture.

Ha!, never thought about quite like that, but you do have a point…nevertheless, it’s ingrained in me so deeply that I’m never gonna be converted.
