Now as I started a thread on the woman’s football, I thought it only in the best interests of the nation, to keep peeps up to date with the woman’s cricket.
After England just won their one day series against Pakistan (3-0), with a cracking 168* from Tammy Beaumont as England put up a total of 366-4. Pakistan only managed 164 all out.
I’ve been keeping an eye on the matches and they’ve done bloody well, humiliated Pakistan in all 3 games to be fair. I was a bit worried when we had all the high profile ladies quit recently but it seems that we have a lot of talent in the wings.

Has been a very impressive 1 day series, but only managed to catch yesterday’s game. I think the important thing is that all the high profile players stay involved in some kind of way to keep pushing the woman’s game forward. It has come. A long way for sure.

England women are nearly there - the tourists are 140-2 after 24 overs, cantering to their target of 169 to beat Sri Lanka in the first one-day international in Colombo.
Skipper Heather Knight is unbeaten on 36 and Nat Sciver is on 26 with this pair adding 51.

God, if there’s one thing worse than birds trying to play football it’s birds s trying to play cricket, particularly 5 pinters . Fucking hell why don’t they just stick to traditional sports like Netball, Hockey or Beach volleyball.
Yeah, the only decent women athletes I’ve ever seen were the GB 4 x 100 team who used to chase Benny Hill around the park - that was proper sport.
PS 1970 called and asked if they could have back their views on…well, everything.

oh and I know a fella up here (yep in Cumbria) who is a bloody good netball player! My son is 5 and is a pretty good footballer and also just passed his ballet exam last week! I know crazy fucking world we live in!!!
