I regularly work with police and generally it’s a good experience. We go out together to speak to children and they’re well trained and do care.
However one team regularly can’t get out quickly as there’s often no car (happened today). Another team advised me they’re merging two boroughs and there are less jobs so they have to reapplyfor the jobs. So larger area,less staff. The team cover child sexual exploitation. Yeah all that stuff in the tabloids. They’re cutting it. Don’t believe what the government tell you when they say they’re funding it. They’re not.
