Well, as Sir Geoffrey Boycott always likes to say, you don’t know how a pitch is playing until both sides have had a bat on it. We made 290, which doesn’t look great, but it’s an early-season pitch after a truly strange late winter and early spring. At stumps Worcs were 40-2, which suggests that batting is no simple matter.
So it looks like a decent enough day to me, but we’ll know an awful lot more tomorrow.
Are we top of the league with the two batting points is the question?
Seeing Worcester got 3 for bowling, I guess not.
