I would have used “Steel Tower” but I’m not talking to industry specialists so “Pylon” is acceptable.

Here’s a rather attractive row of bi-coloured Pylons (Steel Towers). I had noted on a previous walk the Pylon (Steel Tower) in the foreground was showing flaking paint so I phoned Kevin at "Scottish & Southern Energy. They came out a week later and painted the entire row, battleship grey and Sahara yellow.
Obviously, for a Pylon to stand out, stuff needs to get to it. This is a classic of the wiring for a predecessor of a Datacenter in Karachi back in the day…

Just in! They finally found one!
This is apparently THE last Pylon in Northern Poland. By all accounts most of the others are currently in Belarus with some maybe having landed Over the Rainbow after the storms last week!
