I think so. But of course if Romeu carries on this season as he did the last one we could well have the VVD scenario with him in January. Now that the so called big four have seen one of their own given licence to flout the rules on illegal approaches it will be open season for quality players like Romeu. Perhaps he would be principled enough to ignore the whispered offers of trebling his wages because he is under contract, i would like to think so. But i won’t be holding my breath.

Future England captain so might as well get him started now.
Not saying Romeu wouldn’t be good but JWPs has got leader written all over him and he’s one our own … albeit adopted.
Always thought Davis should be our captain but he’s at the wrong end of his career now and he’s club captain anyway.
Really? I may consider bowing down to your superior footballing knowledge but i can’t see him as a regular England international let alone captain.
