Oh, OK.

Well, as well as the YouPorn embedding, let’s just say that pap’s shocking web developer skills (3rd rate, and in the league of The Man and pap, he’s in the relegation zone) have delivered us a way of feeding our narcissism.

He’s made a puddle of water from ones and zeroes that we can stare into to admire how much we are admired.

There, that should have cleared that up.

Sotonians now supports mentions. This means that I can say @saintbletch is a person of questionable fashion, and people will automatically be able to click on his name and see what sort of scandalous reprobate he really is.

Some may be tempted to “click in” to the tags, trying to make a poster look bad with an alias. We’ve catered for that.

So for example, if I tried to pass @so5-4bw off as @fowllyd , Sotonians will detect the difference and colour it differently.

I’m going to be putting some extra stuff on profile pages in due course, but for now, enjoy your new tagging functionality.
