We’re a very geeky forum, Flahute. You know this and you’ve seen Star Wars

Being cursed, at least as far as away matches are concerned, I didn’t attend and didn’t watch it on a stream.

You’re welcome.

I did my bit as well by not listening to the radio - we concede goals when I do, it’s been like that for 15 years.

Just returned home from Stoke to Carlisle. Had a great day in Stoke today, was a pretty good game as well. We should have had them dead and buried by half time. I did say at half time that the Tadic miss was going to put huge pressure on us in the second half, as in football, it just seemed like one of those key moments in the game. You just knew that the next goal, was going to be Stoke.

Saying this we should have had a pen and we hit the bar, then had a man sent off, so we did really well overall to come away with the 3 points with the odds staked against us.

Stoke is a tough place to go and even more so in the situation we found ourselves going through in the 2nd half.

Now can we please beat Liverpool.

Next game for me Leicester away!

Here I am sitting pretty on my 2 - 1 prediction after the lads had suffered a three game collywobble while I was away for 2 weeks.

Listened to the game on Radio Solent and sang along with the commentators…Mason, what a fu**ing great c**t you are. However no matter how great a fu**ing c**t we think he is, no doubt Stoke supporters think he is even a bigger one.

Anyone like to heap praise and Up Votes on me for predicting the correct score and actually being back in the country to turn Saints season around. :lou_lol:

I just want to say how pleased I am that Pelle came up with the goods today. Yes, he isnt the best striker in the world but he also doesnt deserve the shit he gets on TSW. Good job today fella.

Just watched Match of the Day. First off, that programme has less squad depth than us during Adkins’ first Prem season. It nosedives in quality if Lineker and pals are not there. Stilted autocue reading from the host, crappy commentary from the boys Jenas and Sinclair, almost to the point where I reckon that anyone going on TV to talk about football needs to go to metaphor school before they’re allowed to speak.

As for the game itself, I didn’t watch it live yesterday, so didn’t really appreciate what a shit referee Lee Mason was in prosecution of his duties. Should have had eleven players on the pitch, and should have won the fixture with more of a margin. Thank fuck he didn’t cost us the game.

When the opposition keeper has the look of someone who realises he is about to be sent off and instead gets a goal kick, you know something has gone awry.

If the ref thinks there is no contact then it’s a dive, and he should be booked.

That was a clusterfuck of a non-decision.

Michael Oliver had a much tougher game to ref last night and he got everything right.

The real frustration will be if Mane’s card is upheld - that will mean that the authorities actual support an appalling quality of refereeing.

Why do rugby referees get more respect?

Because they clearly work at their craft, look like they know what they are doing most of the time, display consistency, and they have the support of TV if needed.

Well this is just bollocks I’ve already written on Twitter, but if there was ever a case for singing “you’re getting sacked in the morning” to a referee, that was it. He was very lucky that team B were on MotD last night. I think he might have gotten a proper roasting from the regular pundits, even it was just Alan Shearer’s forehead getting redder.

I’ll forgive him the sending off as from where I was stood it looked like an elbow as most around me concured. However, the penalty, fuck me, how can he ref and linesman get that so wrong.

The best part was a number of the younger stewards are students of mine and all SCFC fans so I made a point of saying hello. Bragging rights this coming week will be sweet.

Dan Walker is a Gem, you cretin. I won’t hear a word against him!

Good win tho! Tks Pelle, tks koemans.

Yeah, strikers like nothing better than other strikers getting the goals!

It’s all about the team…to an extent.

I didn’t even know who he was, so I couldn’t very well say a word against him.

Besides, even if I was calling him out by name, you didn’t hear it. This is very much like the legal precedent established by Conrad Knight’s “A Gent in LA”.

So I couldn’t call you that…?

No, but you could fax me.

One of the finest audio gags I have ever heard.

New rule introduced by me -

If a red card is overturned on appeal the referee has to serve the suspension.
