He has been a breath of fresh air and represents everything Forster isn’t or at least wasn’t. Agile, willing to come off his line to claim crosses, able to make match winning saves.
I cannot see anyone coming in for Forster to be honest. Unless he gets an offer from a newly promoted side or from a ‘big’ club to be a back up. I know we should never rule out our old mates the Scousers but they already have two shite keepers and surely don’t need a third.

I can’t believe this is in any way true.
I’d like to think McCarthy will stay and be given a new deal. Forster may bounce but Hart wouldn’t want be play second fiddle any more than Forster.
So I’m calling bullshit on this one.
