This isnt terrorism in the sense that there is a cell with handlers etc - this will be a one off lunatic, on some warped crusade of revenge. Not that it makes it any less horible.
It was an act of terrorism - he’s a terrorist.

We shouldn’t follow the Sun’s lead and differentiate between similar attacks to meet an agenda.
The Sun has described London Bridge as Terror and this as Revenge - thus trying to give it some sort of justification or credibility.
If he turns out to be white Bitish, will they be calling him a radicalised Christian extremist?
I suspect not, so beware of the subtle use of language to influence opinion.

If classed as a terrorist as opposed to a mentally unstable person on a personal vendetta I’d like to know how or why and what was his inspiration for this terrible event? The media? Has he been radicalised as such?
I was watching a clip of members of Britain First marching through Luton carrying crosses and trying to intimidate the locals yesterday. I hope this is the act of a lone nutter rather than the start of something much more sinister.

I’m not sure the Sn are trying to influence opinion on this, more trying to comment on the underlying motivation of this prick. As for being a radicaised Christian extremist - I guess that will depend on whether he a) beleives b) come into contact with hate preachers or c) read that shite on the internet.
If you pick up a paper everyday that continually hints that immigrants are the cause of all your woes and that all muslims are at war with you, the simple will absorb that as fact, and the more extreme may act upon it.
Look on social media and see the made-up stuff that circulates - it’s wall-to-wall fuckwittery on a dangerous level.

So @cb-saint on your terms you don’t class the Manchester bomb as a terrorist attack.
I don’t think it’s about numbers of people involved, if a terrorist act is committed, the instigator is by definition a terrorist.
