šŸ§¤āš½ Fraser Forster

Well thereā€™s some real competition for the No. 1 jersey now - about time too.

Deffo want to see more of McCarthy, he seemed more calm and assured than FF has done all season.

According to this story, Fraser has come off his line and successfully claimed Holly Valanceā€™s sister for a mate. Lets hope he can keep hold of her.

Fit.

In other news, he definitely wouldnā€™t have saved that free kick from Brunt.

So FF has got off with the sister of someone famous?

Thatā€™ a bit like a mate of mine knows a bloke who knew someone who fucked someone famous.

never heard of her tbf @lets-b-drinking

But yep, fit.

Fraser back in the frame?

Fits in with what others have said re Ralph being impressed with him in training and preferring McCarthy to be sold insteadā€¦

IF he is mentally fit again then he is a good keeper. It would be senseless paying him Ā£4mil a year until 2022 he should play for us or play for someone else.
IF he is not mentally fit then in his own interests and for his recovery perhaps he should retire
Iā€™m all for him coming back IF he is back to his pre-knee injury best.

Yes you did read that correctly ā€¦

I laughed

The first word after Fraser Forster is ā€œimmobileā€

He wonā€™t come back, why would he? European football, trophies and huge crowds.

For the same reason he sat on the sidelines for God knows how long.
The one and only thing in modern idiocy that matters.
Money.

Not saying he will come back and couldnā€™t care less if iā€™m honest, but if thereā€™s more money to be made running down a contract(which boosts the next one) thatā€™s what heā€™ll do(give or take 10k).

He absolutely will Baz. As @BTripz says, money will determine his fate.

The only correct response to this thread was to ā€˜likeā€™ @CB-Saintā€™s post.

So weā€™re going to put in a goal a mentality fragile goalkeeper in a relegation battle with millions at stake and who doesnā€™t want to be here?

I donā€™t really think an awful lot of thought has gone into the replies lads.

Can/will Celtic afford his wages and a transfer fee? They wonā€™t pay the reported Ā£80k per week that we do.

What will Saints accept for him? Perhaps theyā€™ll take a hit to get him off the books but if heā€™s doing well theyā€™d argue he is worthy of a half decent fee.

Never said weā€™d play him either.

Not saying he wants to return, simply that he probably wonā€™t walk away from his massive contract at Saints.

Thereā€™ll be a compromise as there always is, he wonā€™t come back here as weā€™ll have to stump up the full whack for the rest of his contract, what inbred did all these long term contracts?

Same here!

An apparent explanation/justification for giving him that massive new contract.

If Woodward is going to make a bid for him, GAO has just recovered his entire investment

Ha! Sadly the reported interest dates back to about three years ago. Very misleading headline.
