The Not Sanctioned Unofficial Saints v Liverpool Matchday thread

Here is my application for the position of Match day thread starter

Going for a 2-1 win against the Work Shy Bin Dippers

I think I can safely say that, if the score is as predicted (or indeed better), and we go on to win against Villa on Saturday, Phillipine Saint will be staking a strong claim to make the job his on a permanent basis.

It’s a tough and often lonely job, being the match thread starter, but I think that the boy Phillipine could well have what it takes.

Dear PS. Thank you for your attempted direct application for a position not yet advertised. Please note, we will only accept applications in the correct format via the official LinkedIn site. As we dont have a LinkedIn site (budget and time constraints, right? Plus we cant be arsed), this means you cant apply. We will contact you if we wish to offer the role. This is unlikely because your name is not funny enough.

We thank you for your interest, misguided though it was.

Yours with disinterest

Bucky Buckster,

Head of non advertised role recruitment

Free internet in all decent world wide airports so whilst checking out the best bars to start the thread in should be able to carry out the tasks to the Satisfaction of all.

Dear Mr Buckster

I thank you for the prompt reply, But on reading your dismissal of my application without at least a formal interview I will be refering your letter and my initial application to the equalities and PC commission as I believe as a foreigner ladyboy I have been unfairly discriminated against and will be looking for suitable renumeration to ease my aching soul.

Yours

Do we have any injuries to worry about for Wednesday apart from those known to be out?

Will RK be fielding a stonger side if possible than he did against city ?

Fonte. Went off with a nasty cut to the knee. Doubt if he will be fit.

Ryan was also puffed out to be fair.

It’s a poisoned chalice this job, so more than happy not to have the added pressure. If we lose to Liverpool and Villa, you know you will be out. The board are fucking ruthless!

I will be travalling to Brazil after the Villa game so wont give a monkeys if they sack me,

I am though fully expecting two wins to keep our CoCup and League progression on track.

Which would mean a permenant position and a huge signing on points Bonus

I have a spare ticket for this (courtesy of Sfcsim) if anyone would like to go.

Face value.

That’s the Liverpool game, not a trip to Brazil with PhillippineSaint.

Good thing too. I’m not entirely sure just what the face value of a trip to Brazil with Phillipine Saint might be.

Whereabouts, brah?

Itchen section next to the corner that you are in. Right at the back. MM.

The last time we lost 3 in a row. Funnily enough it was at the same time last year

2014/15 season

Sun Nov 30th Manchester City Home Lost 0-3
Wed Dec 3rd Premier Arsenal Away Lost 1-0
Mon Dec 8th Premier Manchester United lost 1-2

we then went on to lose a 4th in a row at Burnley 1-0.

Hopefully we will win on Wednesday and Saturday and our season will be right back on track.

I should really appologise to Chertsey as he started a thread for this three weeks ago.

I now withdraw my application for thread starter but am still going to the Racial PC Ombudsman with Bucky Buckeroo Bucks Buckster for pissing me off.

I am on the train, southern bound. Gutted to have missed the Stoke game; sort of had to buy a new car in the middle of last month, which would have made a football beano a financially irresponsible affair. The good news is that I’ve got a good record in Saints games, which I’m hoping to see continued over the next two fixtures.

Nick Ilingsworth has started a thread over on the UI about this being the biggest week of our season so far, which I’m not sure I entirely agree with. That might have been Europe. Still, it’s undoubtedly the biggest week since then.

Really don’t know what to expect from the Liverpool lot tomorrow night. A lot of plastics in Itchen North, almost certainly. There’s a good chance that many of the Liverpool lot wil be southerners buying tickets from up North. Will be more difficult to keep the noise consistent, but it’s a must, I reckon.

Really could go either way. I worry that they’ve clicked with Klopp.
