That’s an interesting interview. Unfortunately, it seems that he just doesn’t recognise the problems we are having and as a result he won’t change anything. That makes me think he’s going to get sacked at some point and that we are going down.

If I were feeling uncharitable I’d write what Fatso wrote.
If I were feeling charitable I’d say he is correct that we are creating lots of chances but that we’re not clinical.
He cites Burnely, who sit 7th, as creating very few chances during a game but when they do they are clinical.
He also cites the fact that we are the 3rd best team in the league at getting into the final 3rd. (I think that was what he said)
He’s either in denial or he’s correct.
The data would probably back him up in his argument that we’re not as defensive as some teams.
His team’s tatics do create chances - plenty of them but his personnel don’t score.
Just a shame that we don’t play the game in spreadsheets.
