Rashford born 1997… God I feel old. He was born after Euro 96!

Fuck I retired before then. :lou_facepalm_2:

Dude who played and scored for Celtic yesterday, born March 2000.

Stop the world.

Hmmm, not sure on that one.

Even when Palace were flying before Xmas it wasn’t much to do with him. There were times in the past when maybe, but I think that’s gone now.

That said, I never thought he was that amazing when he was here and understood why we let him go.

Liked, but not liked, if you know what I mean old man?

It was when I got to my late 30’s and players I had been watching for years were retiring. Of course sill thing to say, but when young and watching football. Footballs were old when they retired! Now it seems a very short career! :lou_eyes_to_sky:

Have Alan Smith and co shut the fuck up yet. Please tell me they have gone home!

Great to see two more Saints represented in the squad, albeit both expected ones at least.

Sadly I expect the consistently best Left Back in the country this season will be afforded very little game-time, mainly because he plays for Southampton not Tottenham, and because Roy Hodgson is an absolutely clueless fucking bellend.

Cannot believe Drinkwater misses out but Wilshere is in! Some things never change.

Vardy and Drinkwater linked up so well this season and I would have liked to see this for England. I do not think you can underestimate the value of a great partnership in football.

Great Sturridge and Wiltshire. Might have well only picked 21 players.

Think we’ll line up like this, which is Roy’s version of 4-3-3, but is actually 4-5-1:

But in the game we’ll transition quickly. Rooney will move in-field to man-mark Dele Alli. Walker will push up to mark Rashford, and Milner will move over to cover the right back spot. Rose will move from the left back position to somewhere else completely. Smalling will drop back to give away penalties, and Cahill will hang around Joe Hart waiting to do those acrobatic goal-mouth clearances he learned from Terry. Wilshere will be on the sideline receiving treatment.

We’ll end up playing in this kind of formation:

Nice bit more of cut and paste dude. I think he will or might as well just draw the team out of a hat every game, as we have fuck all hope with that rabble.

It’ll be alright. Remember, we’ve still got Henderson in reserve.

Come on Bearsy… WHERE THE FUCK IS NIVIA-BOY…silly mid-off?

Just been speaking to a liverpool supporter in Labuan and he is exstatic (spelling) half the team will be from Liverpool.

Milner, Clyne, Lallana, Henderson, Sturridge. when I tried to explain that this team of his never managed to get European football next season he said they are in transition due to Klopp coming in. No your team is shite and loaded with Southampton rejects did not go down well. but there you go.

and how the fuck did Wiltshire get in ?

We are bollocked’s

No Drinkwater :lou_facepalm_2:

At least we wont have unreasonable hopes of doing well in the competition this time round.

It’s a problem cos there is a few players specialist in running around a lot but achieving Fk All, like Lallana & Sterling & Henderson, but I couldn’t squeeze them all into my England Dream Team Of Terror. Confident Roy will find a way tho.

I was ok with dropping Drinkwater tho, I’m ok with Roy for that, I think Drinkwater is shite. I only would’ve liked Roy to drop a few more players if he could, but unlike some people I do realise that it would be bit embarrassing if we rocked up to tournament with only 6 players. I mean, no more embarrassing than how we usually perform at tournaments, but still Embarrassing.
