It's fucking cold!

While I’m here, if that bastard @lifeintheslowlane pops up again to tell us about the bastarding Bahamas he’s getting a bastarding ban.

Snowed in in Fife… running out of things… will soon need to eat the family to survive. Fortunately they are off school and off work so cose at hand should I get hungry.

Only a few idiots out… roads up here not been cleared so impassable due to drifts, yet there are always stupid twats. Village shop is empty apart from tins of haggis curry, and lard. Surprized the lard is still there as as can be rubbed all over body for extra insulation.

I need to get out…

Ah, my Dyson has a laminate floor setting, which basically lifts the beater bar off of the floor. Works fantastically and a lot quicker and less work than a brush.

See this is what I love about this site, practical vacuuming advice when least expected.

Bob, when you were younger, did you ever have problems making conversation with the opposite sex?

Thankfully London hasn’t been hit that bad and they grit the roads but I walked a lot the last few days and quie enjoyed it. Can’t remember the year but it really snowed in Southampton 2013ish and I walked to work then.

We’ve been told about this cold snowy weather quite often and been told ‘only travel if necessary’ and still people pop in their car ‘because we thought we’d be alright getting home’.

You’ll be amazed at what a little hint of hoover knowledge can do to the girls.

Have you ever seen the click-bait “this one little trick will have the girls licking out of the palm of your hand”??

Just talk about hoover beater bars mate, that’s all you need…

Bletch can offer a great deal of advice in this area, though most of it would land you in A&E with some explaining to do.

Flyd is right.

Don’t try it.

I didn’t see any change in length and it turns out that that sort of fluid damage isn’t covered by your HEPA filter warranty.

You masturbate into the palm of your hand first? That’s a step too far, Bob.

Can’t believe we got whammed again.

Mrs D_P took her car to Supermarket. 24C sunny, so she wanted it washed in case she gets a job interview next week.

She tells the car park car wash guy 20 minutes while we nip in to Carrefour.

We took 24 minutes, car was shining as was the sun.

10 minute drive home, howling gale sand storm rain AND dirty car AGAIN.

FFS

Still 24C and 10 quid wasted on car washes is better than what you lot have I guess

TBH I got stuck about 6 or 7 years ago. Came back about 19th Dec to see familiy for Xmas, left Salisbury at 6am and caught the back of a massive storm which had come overnight (should have put the radio on).

ROads were OK until the M3 which got hairy luckily I then moved onto the M4 (heading for Essex) and cut through London.

But because of the airport carnage my flight was cancelled (23rd Dec) and the earliest they could rebook me was 28th. I know a lot of shoould not travels get ignored but some have really bad consequences.

Cost me 500 quid to rebook out of Birmingham which was the most southerly airport open.

But I can’t understand why some people yesterday were moaning on FB they couldn’t get home because they didn’t think it would be that bad and so stayed at work until 5/6pm…

You had windows in England last time I looked!

Hey ho. Hope the game is OK tomorrow

Me and @dubai_phil should stay of this thread the average temp here is 30 in the shade  phils cant be far off that.
