Excellent work bletch, and increasingly relevant. The barrier between first and academy teams seems a lot more porous under Puel.

What is the premier league cup when it is at home?
Agreed Who would we like to see break into the first team next? I’d like to see Olamola get a run out, was pleased to see him on the bench in Israel so hopefully he’ll get some game time soonish.

I’d say Sims, Johnson, Hesketh, Isgrove and, as you say, Olomola are all in with a shout of making match day squads in Europe and maybe even the Prem.

I see Florin Gardos played 45 mins tonight and came through unscathed … good news

Chelsea just equalised in the 86th minute
Southampton FC @ SouthamptonFC 4m4 minutes ago
GOAL: # CFC U23s 2-2 # SaintsFCU23s (Michy Batshuayi 86) Batshuayi works space and curls into the bottom corner to level late on. # saintsfc
2 goals in the last 3 minutes give Chelsea the win. They absolutely battered us to be fair.
Nice to see that even though we were under constant pressure we never resorted to hoofing it. Played our way out looking composed.
Gardos had a full 90.

Who?
Playing again tonight. Played in the last 5 under 23 games.
1-1 at halftime. Olomola on target again for Saints.
FT 1-1.
Good point. Not a bad side Everton. Top of the table. Their left back Callum Connolly looks a good player.
Olomola had a good game. Not bad from Slattery, O’Connor and Jones for Saints.
Harry Lewis looks a pretty good shot stopper but his kicking is terrible.
