šŸ’° šŸ¶ Sporting organisations that are Dirty Dogs

Yep, and itā€™s on all the front pages - in the UK press at least.

Not enough 0ā€™s on those notes. Not worth the calories picking them up.

Todayā€™s laugh out loud headline

Sepp Blatter deserves Nobel Prize, says Vladmir Putin!

Itā€™s so sweet how nice they are to each other!

Thatā€™s a bit like Charles Bronson praising Fred West.

I just read that and was going to put it on here with much the same thoughts as @Furball

You would think that somebody in Blatterā€™s position would realise this it not praise in anybody elseā€™s eyes, only more damning condemnation of his assoication with tyrants and fraudsters

Heā€™s running scared

Sepp Blatter to join ISIS as a western wife. Please.

Sounds as though criminal proceedings are being brought against Blatter, poor bloke:

I saw on Twitter earlier that a presser with Sepp had been cancelled by FIFS, letā€™s hope they get the slippery barsteward this time aroundā€¦

Story has been updated :-

Fifa President Sepp Blatter is currently being questioned by representatives of the Swiss attorney general, the BBC understands.

In a statement, the attorney generalā€™s office said it had opened ā€œcriminal proceedingsā€ against Mr Blatter.

It said he was being investigated ā€œon suspicion of criminal mismanagement as well as - alternatively - on suspicion of misappropriationā€.

Earlier, Fifa cancelled a press conference at its Zurich headquarters.

Platini next in the firing line? That house of cards looks to be tumbling.

The VIP lounge is going to be pretty quiet at the next big game.

(which of course was awarded to the host purely on the strength of their bid)

Even given what we know so far, itā€™s hard to see how Platini can emerge unscathed from this. He received a hefty payment (about Ā£1.35M) early in 2011, apparently as the final payment for work done nine years earlier. However, it just so happens that around that same time Platini decided not to stand against Blatter for election as FIFA president, and advised all European associations to vote for Blatter. This timing, of course, is entirely coincidental.

Good piece from the excellent David Conn right here - dates from Saturday but still salient. Blatter and Platini have both denied any wrongdoing, naturally.

The man is absolutely fucking deluded

Utterly disconnected from reality. It seems to be what happens to people with all that power and influence flowing around them, and surrounded entirely by sycophantic & greedy yes men.

Sadly, what he says is not in slightest bit surprising. FIFA needs burning down before itā€™ll be anywhere near respectable.

Forget dirty dogs - what FIFA needs is a Sexwale.
