The January 2018 Transfer window:- speculation, rumours, dummy spitting, it's all here

Shit indeed. We’re fucked unless we sign someone who hits the ground running or Gabi starts getting on the scoresheet again. No point wishing anything from long.

But he would want to stay here longer under another manager?

Maybe Gabi does a reverese Kane and ONLY scores in January?

Yes - probably.

Its the manager who keeps the players sweet. No suprise Schidelin and Wanyama played well in thier final enforced year. Koeman wouldnt stand for it otherwise and had the CV as a player that anyone would look up to. They played well for MOPO because they simply loved him. Puel was the start of questioning relationships. MoPE is the part where every little this they do annoys you and you want out

Sturridge AND Walcott both linked to us in January. Big debate on talksport.

Worth a punt I reckon.

How long would either stay fit for?

long enough, fingers crossed…

On the bright side Sturridge only ever scores against us so would keep our goal average up if we stop him playing for the dippers.

The Telegraph are now talking about the possibility of a loan deal and that he is up for it, so perhaps the story has legs? If he comes here, let’s just hope that he still has some.

Mouctar Diahkaby. From France apparently Leandre Griffet says we have big name due in.

Also Sturridge following Romeu in Twitter now.

Apparently Citeh and Chelsea have been sniffing around him. 20 years old. Interesting.

I think Sturridge is a top striker, when he’s fit. Most of his career has been a handful of games when he looks like a really good striker, scores great goals and is a real handful. Followed by several weeks out with some injury or another. A fit Sturridge would be a great addition for us, or most teams in the Prem. But it is always going to be a gamble, The Shite would be looking for a substantial fee, plus top wages for him every week. Which would be worth it, providing he is not on the treatment table for weeks on end. Which, given his history, must be a distinct possibility to say the least. It’s a difficult one.

Because Rust is technology dyslexic…

Started out wide but has played more centrally this season:

Can’t help feeling that if he was any good, Wenger would have signed him and ruined him by now.

Tried to cut & paste but then couldn’t see my screen.

Great opportunity for an Elvis inspired chant:

Allasane! We know you’re gonna score for us.

Oh Allasane! He hates Pompey.
